That's weird, because I am running Red Hat Enterprise 3, KDE, and the
instructions I gave you work fine on my machine.
Did you look around in your KDE configurator? It seems unlikely that a
later version of KDE (I'm assuming later, because Enterprise 3 was
already superseded by Enterprise 4, when I installed it in 2004) would
have dumped such a useful feature.
