[LINUX_Newbies] Looking for a distro with BSD init scripts

I was wondering if some people could help me find a distro that uses
BSD-style init scripts. I have been experimenting with OpenBSD and I
really prefer the BSD-style init scripts over the SysV style. That's
just my opinion and I don't want to debate the merits of either one.
What I would like is to hear from users who have a distro that uses
the BSD-style init scripts. I have installed Slackware but was
disappointed to find that it's moved to SysV style.

I've found Arch and Crux both use the BSD style. I like Arch's
documentation and would definitely go for it but I am put off with the
rolling release. I don't want to fix my system constantly. Perhaps I
am wrong about that. And Crux apparently from the little I could find,
favors stable packages instead of the bleeding edge. I'm not really
sure that Crux would be right for me because of all the apparent hand
configuration one has to do, i.e. hand configuring just to get your
Ethernet card working. I'm not sure that I posses that much knowledge
yet and Crux's documentation is kind of sparse.

I guess I'm looking for a Linux distro somewhere between Crux and Arch
with the BSD init scripts. It doesn't even has to be a source or ports
based distro. Also, if I understand correctly Gentoo has the BSD init
scripts but they are modified somewhat and I am not really interested
in fine tuning Linux that much as I am using OpenBSD whenever I can
these days. I still need Linux though. So, if any of you veteran *NIX
users out there can help me out I'd appreciate it.

If you've read this rambling post this far you deserve a medal ;).

Regards,
Donald Cooley
