Hrrm, sounds as if somewhere you probably misclicked. (says he, who
yesterday downloaded Thunderbird in Afrikaans.)
It's probably buried somewhere in about:config. (or prefs.js--might be
quicker to search that with a text editor.)
Does anything similar happen in OpenOffice, or whatever document editor
you might have? If not, it's probably just firefox--and could simply be
a bug that we haven't heard of.
I think I would go to my prefs.js (on RH based systems, usually in
$HOME/.mozilla/
there's anything in there.
