For 30 years I've been programming, teaching myself one language after another.
There were no:
Internet groups
Internet
e-mail
tutorials (online or offline)
rows of computer books at the bookstore
integrated development environments that practically write the program for you (we used pencils, coding sheets and a IBM 029 keypunch machine)
I could go on but I've already wasted enough time, first by writing a note with a hint, and now this.
We programmers tend to be very generous with our help and knowledge, but not necessarily our time.
The original response was the correct and best answer for your benefit. "We will not do your homework." (Java Guy's response ("code to the interface") was great too.)
By the way, since this discussion may show up on a background check and since you have already insulted a large number of potential employers and peers, please write to the group and keep us posted on how your job search goes.

They will be called by a driver which accepts up to 80 characters at a time, places each character on the stack, and, once finished receiving characters, then displays them in reversed order. I am not allowed to use any built-in functions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
