Burning an ISO file is simple and there are many free tools to accomplish it. There are 17 tools reviewed and available for download from <http://www.snapfile
I have used several of these. The simplest, aimed solely at burning ISO files, is BURNCDCC--which is only a 68 kilobyte file!
The one on that list I used most often is called "CDBurnerXP" and it rivals many commercial programs. (I have also used the commercial "Nero Burning ROM" from time to time and found it too complex to bother with for those who don't burn CDs or DVDs all the time.
So far, no Windows burner has rivaled K3B in Linux in speed or ease of use, but some come close.
