A device driver is a file.
When you delete a file in Linux, it is gone.
Of course, if there was one copy of the driver, there are probably a lot
of copies of that file floating around on the internet.
So, if you run a search describing the the hardware the driver supports,
and the OS that it supports, there is a good chance you will find what
you are looking for.
If the driver was installed during the initial installation, then it
must be on the install CD's.
