A server distribution such as Redhat, is not meant to even use X, although
you can use a GUI, but it introduces potential problems, that you can avoid
by running from a terminal.
You would do better to look at a site such as Linuxquesstions.org and seek
out Redhat threads or forums such as:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-server-73/
