DSL is no longer being developed but is still available, but not for the
ARM. Last version was 4.4 in 2008. Puppy may not work due to the ARM
processor. There has been talk of making an ARM Puppy but I don't think that
it has happened.

Debian, Gentoo and Slackware all support ARM, but the netbook has only 128
MBs of RAM so you would have to choose a low overhead desktop environment
such as Openbox or LXDE.
