For those who may not be aware, "Grouply" is something you simply don't want
to be a part of. It hijacks your contact list, and sends "invitations" to
its service to all your contact list, or at least to the mail lists among
them...without your knowledge or consent.
This is spam, folks, of the worst sort.
You have probably also received something like this, and I certainly hope
you didn't become its latest victim...no matter whether the Grouply
"service" is itself worthwhile, this detestable method of spreading should
definitely not be tolerated.
Personally, I hope someone in the FTC might get involved to shut these
people down...
This detestable outfit showed up, I think, in 2008 or so but it apparently
is still snagging some of the unwary.
