[LINUX_Newbies] Keyboard

 

I keep losing my keyboard settings for the number keys on my keyboard on Ubuntu 10.4 (64bit). I am using Microsoft keyboard 3000 Digital Media Keyboard which is fairly common. My number keys do come back after I unplug the usb and plug it back in. Any suggestions on keeping the current settings?

** Microsoft keyboard - yes i heard it all before. I am doing my MCITP and just need keyboard to work ;)
