That means that you have installed the 32-bit version instead of the 64-bit
version. I have Fedora 12 (64-bit) installed and love it. I tried 13 but
hated it and went back to F12. The big difference between Ubuntu and Fedora
to me is that Fedora's releases are more uneven. Sometimes they are good and
sometimes they are not. I think that they sometimes try to achieve too much.
Ubuntu is more consistent and slightly less bleeding edge, IMO.

Try the 64-bit version of Fedora. I love Fedora, BTW. If Kubuntu did not
work so well for me then I could easily switch to Fedora.
