proprietary blobs at all. That means that it won't even detect hardware that
does not have open source drivers. You are SOL if you have proprietary
equipment and use Debian and don't expect any sympathy. At least all of the
loonies are in one asylum. ;)
Fedora's approach is not driven by zealots. They contribute much to open
source and take a stance that open source is preferred, but make it possible
for users to add as they wish. It is a much more practical and sane way to
look at it, IMO.
Every approach has its critics. Mint and Ubuntu can be accused of giving
users what they don't want and then forcing them to remove the offending
bits (Mono).
