Re: [LINUX_Newbies] Re: Can't Connect to the Internet with Ubuntu

Check the sound mixer. You can either go to it in the menu, System,
Preferences, Sound or in the sound applet drop down choose mixer. Often
parts are muted by default and it is simply a matter of ticking a box or
unticking the mute button.
