There is now a version of Mint based on Debian. While the vast majority
of Mint users are probably inexperienced folks who should stay away from
Debian irc, no doubt there are some, as I've seen with Ubuntu, highly
experienced folks who have simply gotten tired of going through various
configurations and like something that just works out of the box.
