Actually, Roy, you are the one that misread the question and as is
often the case, you took the time to bash Mint, Debian, etc. Hey,
I wonder how helpful that bashing is to the OP? Anyway, here is the
original post:
"I have recently upgraded to the latest Ubuntu and thoroughly dislike it. I've
used Ubuntu for years and am not up on all of the current distros out there, and
I would like to know if it would be better to downgrade to 10.10 or to look for
another distro? If another distro, which one?"
Points:
1. He has used Ubuntu for years. Therefore acting like he would
have this huge learning curve is silly. Win7 would also be a
huge learning curve.
2. He asked about looking at other distros. That makes it a good
thing for others to say what distro they like and why.
3. For goodness sake, you take the time for two page diatribes,
can't you spend thirty seconds trimming your posts?
Roy, when you give help it is great. When you head into distro-
hate diatribes, it is just tiring, especially when most of it is
opinion and we cannot really depend on the "facts" you state.
