[LINUX_Newbies] Linux Location of Menu entries

 

Dear All

I have installed an application in Linux. The installation was completed without generating any errors.
However, the entry in the start menu is not active.
This entry needs to be editted to make the entry active.
Can someone tell me where in the Linux file system a "Desktop menu" entry is located?
