Using a VM is not really difficult, but it takes patience to set up and get it running properly. The biggest difficulty for you will be processor speed and RAM. You will be running a big application taking lots of RAM and processor usage inside of Windows which is running in an application on a Linux host. That means your processor will be running two operating systems plus Virtualbox plus Corel Draw when Corel Draw alone is a very big programme to run. You would do better to use it in a Windows PC.
Having a VM with Windows is handy for many tasks, but video editing and graphics would not be one of them unless you have a very new, powerful computer with lots of RAM.
