Do you mean Synaptic, or the other one from Ubuntu/Mint? Vega Strike should be under one of the game folders in Synaptic...just reload it, install updates, if there are any...then if you prefer just search for the game title. Others can tell you how to use/or fix it with terminal commands.

I'm not sure what I did but I can't get the software manager to open-
I'm not sure the cause- what are some apt-get commands I can use in the terminal to either re-install it or fix it?
Also while we are at it what is a good source for vega strike
