RE: [LINUX_Newbies] sandbox -X evince//Sandbox

good question, one of my Ubuntu image is on virtualbox freeware, I also have juniper on virtualbox, I also have centos installed on vmware workstation 10, I like virtual box, host machine performance is not even noticeable. side note if you have a Linux machine that's not a vm, and it supports virtualization you may want to check out Linux solution to virtualization kvm. That's on my todo list : -) below is a link on hypervisor comparisons which include , vmware, hyper-v, kvm, xen and virtualbox. there is something appealing about open source and free and works just as good or even better…. or maybe that's just me.

I personally found it pretty easy to just get the package VirtualBox from the
repositories (use Software Center, Synaptics, apt, or aptitude), download a
distro ISO file, and go through creating and running a virtual machine under
your currently installed Linux.  When you start VirtualBox (sometimes listed
as Oracle VM VirtualBox) the first time, one of the options is a button called
"New".  That starts a wizzard that asks a minimal number of questions to
set up a virtual machine.

If that does not work for you, go to YouTube and search VirtualBox.
