If you happen to have the relevant KDE support libraries loaded, K3b is the best graphical CD/DVD burning program I have found. It actually uses the command line tools in the background--which if I'm not mistaken Brasero does as well. However, I have found it extremely convenient and quite useful--I have not found anything in Windows that is its equal, for example, let alone in Linux.
There are several KDE programs which are outstanding, and k3b is one of them.
