Hi Gerald,

Before I make things too complicated, I want to see if I can connect to my current ISP. They will not support me on how to connect, but I should be able to connect to them.

You may simply want to find an ISP that advertises Linux support. I just
typed in the following search terms to Yahoo Search and found a handful....

" ISP linux dial up support "

Indeed that they support Linux computers over their Dial Up, then they
would certainly have any of their ISP-specific settings you would need
to log on.
