Ahhh, thanks Joan... that was hiding in a side bar on that site... Personally, I'm going against the grain but good for Bill Gates... Like him or not, he's done more to help children in 3rd world countries than just about anyone has. He's done a lot of good with his money (whether ill gotten or no).
I'm not a huge fan of comparing the guy to "Pure Evil" in any case... he's a very shrewd business man who played the gave very well and tool advantage of others shortsightedness. Lets be real, had IBM not had their heads up their collective mini-computers back in the early 80's, there's a good chance MSFT would not be what it is today. So if you REALLY want someone to blame for all that, blame Big Blue, which is certainly paying for a long history of short sightedness and inability to react swiftly to changing market conditions.

Where in the link Joan posted does it say anything about Bill Gates
demonstrating Linux? It's about a Microsoft re-branded iOS app for
Apple iPhones.
