My PHP IS messed up. The curl issue doesn't affect me. But when I issue
michael@camille ~ $ php
it just sits there until I Cntrl+C it. I read over that thread on the
website and it definitely pointed his problem toward a curl problem.
At least now (once the php rebuild gets done) I'll have access to
curl-capable php. Afterward I'll rebuild mod_perl. Out of curiosity
why do you think the culprit is mod_perl? I didn't see any reference to
mod_perl anywhere. Not that I doubt you, I just want to know how you
know so that if something like this comes up again, I can skip this step
of the process by doing it myself...
