Re: [LINUX_Newbies] TOP vs BOTTOM POSTING

Oh, if only we could get such a thorough discussion of technical
issues as we do, where to post a reply...

Jerry, this is not aimed at you, and no offense meant.

For those who have a level of OCD that requires their posts to be a
certain way before they read a post, or share their superior
intellect, just deal with it!

As already mentioned, if you don't want to read it, don't. If you
don't want to answer it, don't. But please, please quit wasting
bandwidth trying to coerce others into your narrow view on life.
Netiquette shmetiquette. What was set forth in the early days of the
net, was predicated largely on the technology of the time.

Bottom line... If you cannot retain the topic main points as you read
through posts, and must re-read the bulk of the conversation in every
post; OR you cannot scroll down through a quoted post to find the new
text, perhaps you aren't "all that".

Seems ironic that such rigid people are working on improving the user
friendliness of an operating system. Leaves me wondering if the
Windows OS and OS X OS developers have the same arguments; or if they
just have decided to share knowledge and not worry about the little
stuff.?
