That's right... I am correct! HAH! <head shaking> but yeah, with
consistency, I fail it. I blame it on having to explain things to too
many non-Linux users and having to constantly switch back and forth
between Linuxese and Windowish. :-)

But that being said, I stand sufficiently poked for not only using
both terms, but using them in the SAME post.

I will now don the cone of shame ;-)

Actually, this is something I always took sort of for granted... but
anyone know how folders actually work in Windows?? Are they actually
equivalent to *nix directories?

For *nix, a directory is just a special file that contains pointers to
the inode for each file, or other sub-directory... do Windows Folders
do the same, or do they do something different?

Just a curiostiy for this rainy morning.
