Here's what my /opt/etc/ipkg. I never heard of this device, and I did not even know this device can run optware. What feed is it using?
I just tested on a qnap ts-219 (cs08q1armel feed) and nslu2 unslung (nslu2 feed). Both works fine.
It's possible that libc version on this i-Stor iS607 device is not entirely compatible with the feed you're using, causing problem.
