It's definitely possible to get Certification in Java.
Doesn't matter what kind of background you have, what matters is what you want.
Get OOPs undetstanding, do hands on Java Dev (download Eclipse or any other IDE if you want), set it up, and keep moving.

I am in QA and want to get a Java certifications for career advancement.
I am an Arts graduate and have no programming knowledge.
I learned C language 12 years back and have no idea about Object orientation.
Can somebody tell me if its possible to learn java and get a certification.
