finicky with others. Each distribution is different and no one distribution
is the best. You have to find which one works best with your hardware. I
have learned this through countless installations on many computers over the
past ten years. Mandrake (now Mandriva) was my first distribution.
A Mandriva variant that you might want to look into is PCLinuxOS. Unless you
need 64-bit (it comes in obly 32-bit) it is an easy to use distribution that
works better than most.
