I have a single standard modem with a DSL/Phone line coming in, using a
standard splitter, so I can use both the phone and DSL Ethernet off the
same phone line, simultaneously
Most DSL modems have several receptacles in the back for Ethernet wired
cable connections, so you can run multiple computers simultaneously. The
newer modems usually also have a wifi receptacle.
If you need more wired connections, a standard Ethernet Hub can be
connected, so you can run even more computers on-line, at the same time.
You should not need anything else.
If your modem only has a single jack, that you plug directly into your
computer, just buy an Ethernet hub:

... plug the modem jack into the hub, and then run one Ethernet cable
from the hub into each computer on the wired network... or install a
wifi gizmo, if the other computers in your house have wifi built in.
