Do you mean you cannot configure MySQL? I did it once a long time ago. I kind of remember it being a little tricky. Much like all things MySQL.

It looks pretty comprehensive to me. Just follow the "right" instructions for your distribution, and good luck, with MySQL you're going to need it.
