Wow, the more I read about this thing the more excited I am! This looks like it could be a fantastic replacement for my slug, it ticks many boxes for me.
Probably more power hungry, but if it can support some of the power-saving features that the slug can't then this may not be as bad as it looks. If the thing gets hot I'm sure there's a way to tackle this without adding fans (e.g. stick a giant heatsink on there :D).
Lets hope the community around the WDTV Live grows like the slug community has. I'd be interested to know whether people are successfully using that optware feed on the WDTV Live yet.
