You: Does this mean corel and wine are no problem?
Me: It means that getting Corel Draw to work in Wine is a huge problem. It is more likely not to work at all and highly unlikely to meet your expectations.
You: is inkscape much worse?
Me: There is an adjustment, but once you get over that then Inkscape works just fine.
You might also want to look at Blender which is geared towards 3D modelling, but it is very powerful. The Gimp will do some line drawing, but it is not as powerful as Inkscape.
