Thanks a lot for your reply, Mike!
Being an optware developer, as well as an optware user, I'm really interested in the build machine up and running, and software upgrade sounds nice. Of course, I will donate, pretty soon, in fact, as soon as I receive my scholarship. Also, do you know what libtool version is going to be used on the build machine, since getting some packages to build with libtool 1.5.x is getting a bit tedious?
Thanks again,

machine is toast (at least from a software point-of-view). Since we
haven't been able to keep it running in a stable manner, and it's a
rather old install anyway, we're going to do a complete re-install of
the latest Ubuntu.
This is a volunteer effort, and some of the team are travelling, so it's
taking some time to do this. To be honest, I have no precise estimate
to offer. As soon as possible. We have a great infrastructure team (we're hosted right alongside sites

like kernel.org), and short of adding more hours to a day, I can't think
of anything that would help in the short term. Long-term, however,
there are costs associated with maintaining our presence at such an
excellent facility -- a few dollars here and there will help defray
those costs and keep us running. (See the www.nslu2-linux.org site for
the "donate" link.)
