Yes. There is a Xubuntu 14.10. But it is built on Ubuntu and shares the same repositories. My grub entry for Kubuntu says Ubuntu even though I installed Kubuntu. I am a little concerned about the last line though. I've never seen that. You can always try a download and do a fresh installation should the upgrade not work. You could proceed and then remove ubuntu-desktop afterwards if it is upgraded by mistake and install xubuntu-desktop to get the same result. Roy Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android
