I mean "Try this, try that" is the solution. There isn't an exact solution for this issue since there are not enough details here. if you are entering your password make sure that the correct authentication method is also selected (WPA2 is popular but not ubiquitous). I mean there could be several problems that cause this. Try this try that is unfortunately the best anyone can really give you but I would check what authentication method the router uses first.

The installed Broadcom won't connect, so I got a 802.11n WLAN USB chip, and it does exactly the same thing. Won't connect with repeated Authentication Required messages. I enter the password of the router, and it still won't connect. Is there a setting on the Verizon site? What is the problem here? No real consensus online about it ... try this try that.
