[LINUX_Newbies] task bar + start bar

 

Help, I am definitely a newbie. installed Linux Mint 12, but there are no task bars or
start menu in view. Re-installed and all are in view, great. Logged in later and back to no task bar or menu. I have heard of other Linux Mint 12 users with the same problem.

Any thoughts ?
