Well, technically Wikipedia is based on linux.... but that's probably not what you're after.
Short answer is, I've never heard of one (same applies to your other thread about a herb rememdy program.
To be honest, those things are becoming few and far between, even on windows, IMO because everything is available on a website somewhere.
You could run Encarta or most windows programs on Linux via WINE (Windows Emulator) so that's always an option...
