Hi,
The reason this lock icon appears is to indicate that you do not have
permission to read/modify/execute the file. There are a couple of ways
this can occur. To fix try bringing up a command terminal with
ctr-alt-t and do an 'ls -al' on some files it should show you as the
owner/group if you see numbers (like 1001) or root then you need to
change the ownership of the files with 'chown -r username/username *'
If you see your user name but a series of '-' characters then your files
have no access mode, fix with 'chmod -r 755 *'
