Re: [LINUX_Newbies] Happy Holidays!

Thanks. That is too true. Most of us only find this out too late, once we have lost someone. The other side of the holidays is that it is the saddest time for many peopleIt is easy to get caught up in other things, but need to remember it isn't about us or or jobs or material things. It is about relationships and holding onto what is important. So take the time to appreciate what you have and think about those who are less well off. Thanks for the reminderHappiness is a choice and not something abstract to be sought.

Subject:[LINUX_Newbies] Happy Holidays!

Hey,

Sorry for the crosspost, first of all, and sorry for not being as
active in either of these groups as I have in the past. Life, work,
work travel and trying to find a life outside of work take their
toll.

But I wanted to take a moment and wish all of you a (Happy, Merry,
Wonderful, Joyful) $HOLIDAY.

Air your grievances around the pole, Sing around the tree, light the
Menorah, or whatever it is you choose to do during the holiday season.

Most importantly, enjoy as much time as you can with Family and
Friends while you have the chance.

Two days ago one of my friends and co-workers died after Leukemia
finally won the long battle. I hadn't seen him in almost a year and
had been too busy with work to really actively try to catch up with
him, and now I'll never have the chance.

So please, enjoy time spent with your loved ones. That's the most
important thing of all.

Cheers,

Jeff Lane
