[LINUX_Newbies] OpenSUSE and Bootcodes

Greetings - Can someone kindly tell me whether to install a bootcode to both the MBR and the / partition when installing OpenSuse-LEAP in a multi-boot system? I already have Windows 10 and Linux Mint installed and I wanted to try out OpenSUSE. I got one GRUB error already and I'm going back to try to re-configure the correct booting process with a fresh install of OpenSUSE-LEAP. Here is what the heading says PRIOR to the actual install:

Booting
  • Boot Loader Type: GRUB2
  • Status Location: /dev/sdb3 (extended), /dev/sdb6 ("/"), /dev/sdb (MBR)
  • Change Location:
  •            Install bootcode into MBR (do not install)
  •            Install bootcode into "/" partition (do not install)
  • Order of Hard Disks: /dev/sdb, /dev/sda

NOTE: Where it states (do not install), those are clickable links to change so the bootcode is NOT installed. Under the scenario above, the bootcode will be installed on both the MBR and the /. IS THAT OK?   /dev/sda is a backup drive and not involved in the booting process.

Thanks if anyone can help. That is another one of those areas where Linux does not do an outstanding job of documentation!
