first, no need to apologize for your English, that is totally fine.
I assume your question is whether Linux is a faster OS than Windows.
Well, there is no clear answer to that, what exactly do you mean by
faster?
In general a Linux desktop system uses less system resources than
Windows. But again that depends on the desktop environment you use.
GNOME-Shell and KDE are resource-hungry (CPU & RAM), XFCE and LXDE less
so, the same goes for Enlightenment as well.
For specific tasks like media encoding or encrypting files, partitions,
etc. I frankly do not know. The guys at Phoronix (www.phoronix.com) do
benchmarks for different OS on a regular basis. You might find more
information there.
