I am not sure if I understand the problem. Midori will rebuild the midori folder but it should be just as if you started fresh. However, it may use things from the cache so you might have to clean that as well. It is in the .cache folder as midori.

If this does not straighten out the problem then I am not sure what will.

there was midori in .config.
But there must be more dirt. Because the midori remembered
there was an old midori before.

And stupid question: I did catfish search midori*
but no result. How can I search dirt of midori?
