[LINUX_Newbies] Re: Ubuntu / Air card help

I'm so glad you asked. I happen to use a sprint compass 597 as my main internet connection. Well it's easy. I use linux mint so its a tad bit different but as i recall ubuntu has almost exactly the same steps.
Right click on your network icon in the tray. Click network connections.
Click the mobil broadband tab. Click add. The system will automaticily reconize the broadband card. Finish the setup, should be very guided. Then just left click on your icon and click the sprint connection. Should connect automaticily. If this is a new card you have to activate it in windows. If you are not on the sprint network you will need a username and password, It should automaticily setup the defult password and username if your' on sprint. If your on at&t or version, you will have to use windows to activate and to find out your username and password.
