What I have heard from admins is that they prefer experience to
training. If you can do it and demonstrate your skills then that is
more important. However, you may make more money if you have some
qualifications to back it up.There are other certifications that are
cheaper and broader in scope than Red Hat. Remember that while RH is
big, there are many server platforms.
