No, you do not have to delete anything. I have both wired and wireless with
some computers and media streamers working from a wired connection and
others working wirelessly. You need to set up your wireless network on the
router end and on the computer to get things to work. You need to decide on
an SSID and the type of encryption and the encryption key and then do the
same from the computer end using the same settings. You may also have to
set up your wireless card or chip to work with the OS by having the
appropriate driver, etc.
