[LINUX_Newbies] Updated now I am lost

 

I just updated my laptop, now I can't do anything. I'm not a computer novice or expert. Is there a guide or help in the program to help me out. I wish I hadn't changed. I can't find a list of loaded programs. I'm sorry, I'm a spoiled windows user.
