Hello list-
I am working for a small company that uses Open Suse, Open Office, Firefox and many other Linux based applications. There is one "W" box in the shop for those that can't break the habit.
I have loaded Firefox on my home "W" computers and find it preferable to IE. I have asked our company's Linux guru to load the same configuration as our company system on one of my Dell desktops so I can really try to make a total transition to "L". The plan would be to have absolutely no "W" software on this box and use Open Office and other Linux based programs.
I am also told that there are many good Amateur Radio Related applications for LInux, that I would like to grow into.
Any words of wisdom for use of Open Suse? Or should I consider alternate OSs?
Thanks,
Steve
