You do NOT need to re-install your old VMs. Just replace VirtualBox and then
change your VM settings to allow for usb. The VMs themselves are stored in
the .VirtualBox hidden folder in the VDI subfolder. At worst you will have
to re-install the XP VM, but link to the old VM VDI file. This means that
you won't have to re-install XP unless you really want to. That can be a
real pain. :)
