You can also use unetbootn ( http://unetbootin.
create bootable USB keys from those ISO images.
They run faster from USB than they do from a CD/DVD, but that route
also requires that your system can boot from USB devices. Most/all
newer systems (within the last few years, I guess) can do this, but
the older you get, the less your chances of this working are.
And if anyone can figure out how to trick a netbook (Lenovo S10) to
use the SD card slot as a device at boot time, I'll buy you a beer ;-)
