Okay, done that...

OpenSSH_5.2p1, OpenSSL 0.9.8k 25 Mar 2009
debug1: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh_config
debug1: Connecting to 192.168.1.5 [192.168.1.5] port 22.
debug1: connect to address 192.168.1.5 port 22: Connection refused
ssh: connect to host 192.168.1.5 port 22: Connection refused

That's it... is this any help? (It's not to me...)

Ty running ssh -v yourslug.com. This will pint out debug info, which
should give you a clue as to why the connection is being refused.
